MSC Technologies presents 15.0-inch (38.1 cm) TFT displays from Mitsubishi with high SXGA+ resolution

MSC Technologies, a business group of Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA, a business region of Avnet Inc. (NYSE: AVT), offers two 15.0-inch (38.1 cm) TFT displays from Mitsubishi with a high resolution of 1400 x 1050 pixels (SXGA+, 117 pixels per inch). Both displays are designed for use in industrial applications such as image processing, measuring instruments and medical equipment. Furthermore, they are also suitable as display instruments in trains and ships. The operating temperature range of these high-resolution displays is especially wide and ranges from -30°C to +80°C.
The model AA150PD03 has a brightness of 500 cd/m²; model AA150PD13 features a brightness of 1,000 cd/m². Thanks to a high contrast ratio of 1000:1, best readability is ensured even in bright environments. Due to the implemented IPS technology, both displays have wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 85 degrees from all sides (up, down, left, right). The 6 bit / 8 bit LVDS data interface supports a color palette of up to 16.7 million colors (8 bit per color).
The lifetime of the LED backlight is specified as 100,000 hours at an ambient temperature of 25°C. Display model AA150PD03 is equipped with an integrated LED driver, which allows rapid design-in of compact, price-optimized display solutions.
The active area of both models is 304.5 (H) x 228.4 (V) mm. The compact mechanical housing measures 326.0 (W) x 255.0 (H) x 10.5 (D) mm. The display surface is with antiglare film and hard coating 3H.
